JAMMU, Aug 30: Prominent social and political activist Ravinder Singh along with his supporters today joined LJP(R) in a function held here today.
The function was organized in presence of Rafiq Malik State President LJP JKUT, who welcomed the activists into the party’s ranks and immediately appointed Ravinder Singh as State General Secretary Sikh Minority Wing JKUT.
Speaking on the occasion, Malik emphasized the importance of socio-political leaders in contributing to a harmonious and equitable society.
He expressed confidence that the new incumbents would bring valuable insights and energy to LJP’s mission.
Malik said that the state is going through very difficult times and it is the people who have an important and valuable role to play in addressing the challenges faced by the people.
“Our party has a rich legacy of serving the poor with sincerity and dedication and we pledge to continue this mission by ensuring social justice and economic equality”, he said.
Malik said that LJP is committed to uplift the weaker sections in J&K and added that LJP( R) is commited to the socio-economic empowerment of the marginalized.
Among others who were present on the occasion included Ravi Kumar Bali, Varun Bali R.P Singh, Shakeel Ahmed, Daljit Singh, Rashpal Singh Billoria, Inder Kumar Manhas, Gurdev Singh, Puran Chand Malhotra, Kamaljeet, Sushma Sharma, Asif Rehman Choudhary, Shahbaz Malik, Inderjeet, Mohinder Pal Singh and Maharaj Krishan Bhat.
