R.S PURA, May 22: A programme was organised at BJP office Kulian near here under the leadership of Harbhajan Singh Pammi wherein social worker, Jarnail Singh along with his supporters joined BJP.
BJP leaders welcomed the new entrants by garlanding them.
Speaking on the occasion former minister, Chowdhary Sham Lal said that joining of Jarnail Singh will further strengthen the Party at grass root level.
He also said that PM Modi led government at the Centre is working hard for the welfare of rural areas due to which many people are joining BJP.
Jarnail Singh, while speaking on the occasion said that BJP is continuously working for the welfare of the country due to which he decided to join BJP.
BJP general secretary, Narender Singh; Manish Sharma, ex-MLAs—Garu Ram and Ashwani Sharma along with other party workers were also present on the occasion.
