Solanki asks leaders to launch aggressive campaign against BJP

JAMMU, Jan 16: Senior AICC leader and Incharge J&K affairs of the party Bharat Sinh Solanki today stressed upon the need to go for aggressive campaign against the BJP’s diversionary tactics to expose it’s failures on various fronts.
Gearing up the basic party units especially district, booth and block units for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on war footing in order to defeat BJP ‘s false propaganda and to strengthen party at booth levels, Solanki said that booths hold the key to success apart from aggressive and positive campaign.
While addressing the meeting of AICC appointed coordinators for the five Lok Sabha constituencies, Incharges of districts, district presidents of Jammu and Kashmir and the frontal heads, in the presence of PCC president Vikar Rasool Wani, AICC join secretary Manoj Yadav here this afternoon, Solanki directed the district presidents to establish perfect coordination at all levels and expedite the process of strengthening of booths and Block level units. He asked them to be ahead of other rival parties and leave no loop holes in the organizational set up.
Solanki took stock of all organisation structure in all the 20 district and that of frontal wings. He said that Congress should aggressively campaign in all blocks and Assembly levels and termed the coordinators as bridge between the district, Lok Sabha constituencies and PCC and AICC shall coordinate various activities and give feedback.
PCC president, Vikar Rasool Wani cautioned against BJP’s divisive agenda and it’s attempts to divert from real issues facing the people, especially in Jammu and Kashmir- like Statehood, rights to land and jobs, highest degree of unemployment, unprecedented price rise, “tax loot” and large scale problems of every section of people.
Wani said people are looking towards Congress to raise their issues and party has to highlight their grievances and draw attention of the people towards real issues to expose BJP’s failures.
Several senior leaders , district presidents and frontal heads spoke on the occasion and shared their views.
JKPCC working president Raman Bhalla, Chairman Campaign Committee Tara Chand, senior vice president Mula Ram besides Ravinder Sharma, Yogesh Sawhney, Haji Abdul Rashid, Naresh Gupta (all LS coordinators) and vice presidents Indu Pawar, Yash Pal Kundal, Shashi Sharma, Pawan Raina, Narinder Gupta, Abid Aiyaz, Balbir Singh, Pyare Lal Shan, Shakeel Mir- all general secretary, DCC presidents Shabir Khan, Manmohan Singh, Pankaj Dogra, Sanjeev Sharma, Khajuria, Sheikh Mujeeb, Parvez Wani, Asif Naqeeb, Imtiaz Khan, Sahil Farooq, Shiv Kumar, Shameema, Akash Bharat, Vijay Sharma, Ajay Lakhotra, Karan Bhagat and others were also present.
During his stay, Solanki will visit Reasi, Udhampur, Doda, Samba and Kathua and hold meetings with the district committees.
