SRINAGAR, Sept 17 : An Army man died and another was injured after a service rifle of one of the soldiers accidently went off in Bandipora district.
Police said that one soldier died and another was injured after the rifle of an Army man went off. “However, the accused Army personnel has been detained and legal action initiated,” he said.
“There has been an accidental discharge of weapon resulting in one fatal casualty and an injury to Army personnel. Accused Army personnel has been detained. Necessary legal action has been initiated,” police posted on X.
