DODA, Nov 15: A soldier was killed while one another sustained injuries after a car rolled down in Bimna village here today.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number HR31G-0591 was on its way to Bagwah from Bemina when it rolled down into deep gorge near village Bimna on Doda-Bhagwah road.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person identified as Khurshid, son of Akbar residents of Bemina District Doda to GMC Doda, where he was undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
The deceased was identified as Paramjeet Singh (soldier), son of Chuni lal, a resident of Laloor Dessa District Doda.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Dessa and investigation started.
