Mr Javadekar, who was here to launch a portrait depicting soldiers of Param Veer Chakra, along with Minister of State for Defence Dr Subhash Bhamre at ‘Vidya,Veerta Abhiyan function, lauded the role of the Indian Army and their sacrifices. He said the event was organised to inculcate the feeling of patriotism among students in colleges and universities.

Mr Javadekar said, “We cannot teach patriotism because it is already there; there is a need for awakening. For this purpose the campaign was launched to have ‘Wall of Heroes’ in various educational institutions, including colleges and universities.
