JAMMU, Mar 9: S Karan Singh Wazir, son of S Trilochan Singh Wazir, the minority community leader who was murdered under mysterious circumstances on September 3, 2021 in New Delhi, claimed today that “some influential people” have been trying to “sabotage the fair investigation” of Delhi Police’s Crime Branch to shield the accused.
Addressing media persons here, S Karan Singh Wazir said that initially for a period of almost one-and-a-half-year, Delhi Police made some arrests but the conspirator and mastermind remained at large.
During this period, Wazir said, he and his family members faced hopelessness but later the Crime Branch of Delhi Police did a commendable job by arresting the main accused Harpreet Singh from Jammu and three key conspirators, Sudarshan Singh Wazir, Harjinder Singh Raina, and Jagpal Singh.
“I’d like to thank the Commissioner of Delhi Police and the entire team of Crime Branch NR-1 of Delhi Police for unearthing the conspiracy. We’re now confident that the conspirators won’t be spared,” he said.
S Karan Singh Wazir said that prior to the arrest of the key accused the latter tried their best to stop their arrests.
“And now, after they have been arrested, their family members have been trying to sabotage the investigation of Delhi Police’s Crime Branch,” he alleged.
“But I am confident that the Crime Branch of Delhi Police will reach at a logical conclusion in my father’s murder case without letting anyone interfere with the process of law,” hoped S Karan Singh Wazir.
