Srinagar, June 28: A pall of gloom descended on a family in South Kashmir’s Anantnag after they came to know about the death of their son in a road mishap which resulted in the sudden death of his father too.
As per officials, a motorcycle (PB07AK-1407) rider namely Arif Ahmed son of Abdul Rehman, a resident of Panchalthan Chittergul collided with a passenger cab (JK02AB 1227) near Panchthan Shangus this morning, injuring him grievously.
“He was shifted to SDH Shangus, where doctors declared him as brought dead on arrival,” officials said.
What happened after that was heart-breaking as upon hearing the news about the death of his son, his father, Abdul Rehman Wani, suffered a massive cardiac arrest.
“He was shifted to SDH Shangus, where he was also declared as brought dead.
Confirming the death of the father and the son, police officials said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered.
