JAMMU, July 24: Son of the soil and upcoming music producer Anant Rohmetra has collaborated with Russian label ‘Suprematic’ and released his latest song, “See Me”.
Further, Anant will also soon be releasing a deep house track, which is a remix of English rock band, Led Zepplin’s classic song, ‘Stairway to Heaven’.
Anant’s latest songs find its inspiration from 19th century music. It contains guitar and vocals like that in the Blues Rock, which was the core sound of music originating from southern part of the United States.
Music producer Anant has carved a name for himself in the music industry of Mumbai. Going beyond Mumbai, he has shared stage with various national and international artists. His sets have featured on local Radio channel— Niche Radio— and Sri Lanka based radio — Tekn’o’clock, which features artists from all over the world.
The list of national artists with whom he has performed includes the likes of Nikhil Chinapa, Deepesh Sharma, Ma Faiza and Browncoat. Beyond the boundaries of the country, he has performed alongside international artists like Betoko from the UK and Angelov from Ukraine.
Anant’s last work also brought out some interesting sounds. Producing a unique sound using the guitar and analogue synthesisers, he thrilled his audience with his song ‘Love’, released on 15th July 2023. The song is built around Greek vocals and has gained recognition in the music community in India and abroad for its uniqueness. It currently stands at 54th position in the ‘Beatport Top 100 Releases’ on the Beatport Website.
His recent gigs in Jammu with ‘Projecthome’ saw great response and crowd engagement. Projecthome has taken the initiative to spread art and music by bringing like-minded individuals and building community for people, who enjoy music in its purest form.
