JAMMU, Apr 4: Son of the soil, Vidut Jamwal, who is in a lead role in octane action film ‘Commando’, releasing on April 12, hopes to visit his hometown Jammu and his family soon after his film releases.
Jamwal, as the name suggests, hails from Jammu, which holds a special place in his heart. Being an Army man’s kid, he travelled across the country growing up but he used to visit his maternal aunt in Talab Tillo and his best friend in Trikuta Nagar every year during vacations.
Vidut used to enjoy travelling in minibuses across the vasts of Jammu with his friends and family. He also enjoyed some alone time walking on across the Tawi Bridge which he considers as an extremely pious experience. He also frequently visited and participated in and garnered blessings from the holy Mata Vaishno Devi, which he believes has been a strong guiding force in his life.
Vidut, who has been talked about extensively in Bollywood as the Action Superstar and the God of Action, is currently prompting his forthcoming release ‘Commando’. There is a great buzz about the film and especially Vidut’s action in the film amidst the industry and audiences.
The special thing about the Vidut’s action is that it has been designed and executed himself with his stunt team without any cables, wires or body doubles. The action that film promises is way ahead of anything Indian audiences have seen before and is truly in line with international standards of action.
Once the film releases and before he starts working on the next Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Bullett Raja’, he would possibly be seen visiting Jammu.
Vidut feels very humbled to be representing the beautiful State and is happy to be responsible to carry the mantle of Jammu forward in Bollywood.
