JAMMU, Dec 16: Lt Gen Suresh Sharma was awarded Life Time Achievement Award on the occasion of Centenary celebrations of H B Technical University, Kanpur.
President Ram Nath Kovind and Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel alongwith large number of Ministers and other dignitaries graced the occasion.
Citation for the award to Gen Sharma, former Engineer in Chief of the Indian Army and former Director General Border Roads Organisation of Ministry of Defence highlighted his contribution to the nation building and to the construction industry.
He is a top rated strategic infrastructure expert who is advising several Government, non profit organisations and private companies.
Gen Sharma hails from Jammu.
