Sonali Kumar accorded warm farewell

JAMMU, Nov 30: Chairperson, J&K Special Tribunal, Sonali Kumar, IAS, was accorded warm farewell by senior officers and staff of Special Tribunal and Legal Fraternity on her attaining age of superannuation from Government services at a function held at Jammu Club.
During her service career of more than 36 years from July 1979 to November 2015, she served in various top positions and capacities not only in J&K but Central Government also.
By the dint of good qualities of leadership, zeal, zest, integrity and impeccable decision making, she has overcome all the challenges that confronted by her during service tenure with scintillating performance. She played a superlative role for the overall development of J&K State in different sectors particularly in field of education, health and medical education, agriculture production, revenue, forest, industries and commerce and law.
Contribution of Mrs Kumar as Chairperson J&K Special Tribunal will be remembered in providing justice to the people of the State through speedy disposal of the cases which were pending for the last 15 years.
Speaking on the occasion Mrs Sonali Kumar shared experiences of her service tenure and thanked the officers, staff members of the Tribunal and Legal fraternity for their valuable support.
Principal and District Sessions Judge, R K Wattal, Member (Judicial) Registrar Reva Gupta, KAS, Deputy Registrar, Shagun Sharma KAS, J&K Special Tribunal in their speech praised the dedication, sincerity and supporting nature of Mrs Sonali Kumar, terming her as honest, humble and efficient officer.
