JAMMU, Mar 20: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Inder Singh Soodan here today inaugurated blacktopping work of lane at Sector 13, Nanak Nagar, in Ward 44.
The lane was in dilapidated condition and the blacktopping was a long pending demand of the people of the area for which the Councillor got approval from JMC and the work has been started today.
Speaking on the occasion Soodan asked the people of his Ward to cooperate JMC in developmental works.
He said that the people should avoid throwing garbage in lanes and drains and avail the service of garbage collector autos in this regard.
The Councillor further appealed to the people to avoid single use plastic and polythene in their daily life.
He said that other developmental works in the Ward will also be started soon.
Many prominent people of the area were also present on the occasion.
