JAMMU, Apr 8: JMC Councillor, Inder Singh Soodan of Ward number 44 here today started drain work in Sector 7, Lane number 10 of Guru Nanak Nagar.
Drains of the area were in very bad shape since long due to which locals of the area were facing a lot of problems.
They approached Soodan with the problem after which he took the issue with authorities of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) which approved the work and it started today and shall be completed with an estimated expenditure of Rs. 6 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion the Councillor said that other works of the Ward shall also be taken on priority. Prominent among those present on the occasion were S. Amrik Singh, S. Gurdeep Singh, Baljeet Singh, S. Mehar Singh, S. Brijpal Singh and Ravinder Singh.
