JAMMU, Sept 7: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Inder Singh Soodan of Ward number 44 here today inaugurated drain work at lane opposite to J&K Bank ATM in Sector 12 of Guru Nanak Nagar.
The lane was in dilapidated condition since long and the locals of the area were facing a lot of problems due to that.
They approached the Councillor with the issue who in turn sought help of JMC authorities and funds were sanctioned for the repair of the drains, the work on which was started today.
The Councillor while speaking on the occasion said that remaining works of the Ward shall also be taken on priority so that the people of the area may heave a sigh of relief.
Many prominent persons of the area were also present on the occasion.
