Soodan starts drain work in Nanak Nagar

JAMMU, May 3: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Inder Singh Soodan of Ward number 44 here today started work of drains in Sector 11 of Guru Nanak Nagar.
Condition of the drains in the area was very bad and the people of the area faced a lot of problems due to that especially in rainy days.
The affected people approached Soodan and he in turn took the issue with JMC authorities which approved the work which shall be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 8.16 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion the Councillor said that other works of the Ward shall also be taken soon and sought cooperation of the people to make the Ward a model one.
He asked the residents of his Ward to properly use the services of garbage collecting autos and stop throwing household wastes here and there.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were S. Amarjit Singh, Bunty Singh, S. Bhupinder Singh, Baljeet Singh, S. Mehar Singh, Vijay Kumar, Imran Dutta, S. Nirmal Singh and Ravinder Singh.
