Soodan starts lane-drain work in Nanak Nagar

JAMMU, Aug 5: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Inder Singh Soodan of Ward number 44 here today started lane and drain work in Sector 10 of Guru Nanak Nagar.
People of the area earlier had approached Soodan with demand of covering the drains and he in turn visited the offices of the concerned authorities in JMC and got the work approved in this regard.
The work will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 4.90 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion Soodan said that more development works in the Ward will be started and completed soon.
He sought cooperation of the people of his Ward to make the Ward a model one in the city.
The Councillor asked the people to avoid single use plastic and use the services of door-to-door moving autos for disposal of household garbage.
Prominent persons of the area present on this occasion were Jagjit Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Shagun Sharma, Chetan Sharma and Mehar Singh.
