Soyabean rises in futures trade on positive global cues

NEW DELHI, June 17:  Supported by positive global cues, soyabean prices were up by Rs 48 to Rs 3,680 per quintal today, as participants enlarged positions.
Further, strong demand at spot markets too influenced prices.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soyabean prices for delivery in current month contracts spurted by Rs 48, or 1.32 per cent to Rs 3,680 per quintal, in an open interest of 10,810 lots.
On similar lines, soyabean for delivery in far-month August too gained Rs 48, or 1.35 per cent to Rs 3,592 per quintal, with an open interest of 65,790 lots.
Marketmen said apart from strong demand at domestic spot markets against tight supplies, positive global cues, influenced soyabean prices at futures trade. (PTI)
