SRINAGAR, May 24: Prof. Saif-ud-Din Soz, President, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee and Member of Parliament, met N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan here this evening.
The Governor and Prof. Soz discussed several important matters relating to the rapid socio-economic development of the State.
Prof. Soz felicitated the Governor on his continuing association with the future growth of the State.
Mohammad Iqbal Khandey, Chief Secretary also called on Mr. Vohra, who had wide ranging discussions with Mr. Khandey, on issues relating to governance, security, and the growth and development of the State.
The Governor also reviewed with Mr. Khandey several important matters relating to the ensuing Shri Amarnathji Yatra.
Lt. Gen. (Retd) T. K. Sapru, former Western Army Commander also met Governor.
During their meeting, the Governor and Lt. Gen. (Retd) Sapru discussed various issues relating to security management.
