JAMMU, June 29: PCC president Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz has expressed his gratitude to AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi for providing Rs 10 lakh to each Panchayat in J&K as special assistance.
In a communication to Mr Gandhi (MP), Prof Soz expressed his deep gratitude for Rahul’s keen interest in Providing special funds to J&K Panchayats annually. The PCC chief requested that this amount should be directly sent to the Panchayats under the new scheme titled Direct Cash Transfer. He said these funds will help in ensuring better development in the rural belts of the State.
