JAMMU, Sept 1: Former Union Minister and Veteran Congress leader Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz called on the Governor and discussed with him the prevailing situation in Kashmir.
During the meeting the veteran Congress leader putforth some suggestions and hoped that soon a situation will prevail in which an open discussion on matters of public importance will be possible.
Prof Soz also met the visiting senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP, Dr Karan Singh at Taley Manzil, Gupkar Road here. Dr Singh arrived here today to share his views in the light of his two speeches delivered by him in the Rajya Sabha in its recent session in which he made his position clear on Kashmir problems.
Dr Singh has arrived here to lend a helping hand to see the current situation of strife yielding space for an unfettered discussion on matter of crucial importance, with a view to create understanding for harmony and a dignified peaceful life.
