JAMMU, Dec 22: Abdul Shakoor Malik, father of Farooq Qaiser, SP Headquarters Jammu and Aijaz Qaiser, ACD Jammu passed away today morning at AIIMS New Delhi at the age of 74 after a brief illness.
Originally hailing from tehsil Budhal in Rajouri district and an awardee of National Best Teacher Award-1994, Malik had retired as Zonal Education Officer in 2006.
He is survived by two sons and three daughters.
Nimaz-e-Janaza will be held at Nawabad Graveyard,Near Army Gate, Sunjwan Road, Jammu on December 23 at 11 am.
