LUCKNOW: Media persons were at the receiving end today during an interaction with Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav .
The former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh even questioned the journalists on their alleged inclination in favour of the Bharatiya Janata Party, which recently notched up a landslide victory in the Assembly polls in the state.
Akhilesh invited media persons but was late by an hour. He was furious when a TV journalist of a reputed national channel asked him about the demand made by his uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav to hand over the reins of the party to his father Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Akhilesh started insulting the scribe and even questioned his integrity. The SP leader alleged, “You are wearing a ‘saffron’ colour shirt and this shows your inclination”.
He even went ahead by taking the name of the scribe a couple of times and said, “You should give me in writing all your questions and then I will sit and answer all of them.”
Later, the security personnel of the former Chief Minister pushed media persons when they protested against his behaviour. (AGENCIES)
