Jammu, July 7: In its continuous fight against drugs, J&K police held a drug awareness programme with the students of SR College of Competition, Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
Shaheen Wahid, SP City South Jammu said that the society on the whole has to work together in the fight against drugs that is emerging as a major threat to our youth. She said that J&K Police is fighting drug abuse by not only taking strict action under law but also raising awareness among various sections of the society.
She asked the students to be aware of their surroundings and come forward to actively contribute towards a drug-free society and help Police to curb trafficking of drugs. Parveen Sharma, Director, shweta Saini, Office Coordinator along with other faculty members of the college were also present.
