MOSCOW, Sep 24 : A Falcon 9 carrier-rocket delivered another 22 Starlink internet-satellites into orbit today, the SpaceX corporation has announced.
“Deployment of 22 @Starlink satellites [into orbit] confirmed,” the company said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The Falcon 9 rocket took off from the launch center on Cape Canaveral in Florida at 23:38 local time (03:38 GMT). Shortly after the launch, the rocket’s first stage landed on the floating platform. SpaceX broadcast the launch on X.
Starlink is a satellite network designed to provide broadband internet access across the planet.
SpaceX, owned by US billionaire Elon Musk, has been managing the project since 2018. As of now, there are over 4,500 Starlink satellites in Earth orbit. UNI
