JAMMU, Mar 27: Speaker Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta today flagged off the 17th Chari Mubarak Yatra from Shri Lucky Babaji Vaishno Mandir, Bhagwati Nagar for Sukrala Mata, Billawar.
BJP State President and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma was also present on the occasion.
Being organized by Lucky Baba, the Yatra is performed every year in which thousands of devotees participate with great religious fervour and gaiety. A langar is also organized at Sukrala Mata.
Mr Gupta expressed the hope that divine blessings will strengthen the bonds of amity and bring peace and prosperity in the State.
Hundreds of devotees accompanied the Charri Mubarak from Sukhrala Mandir that left for Sukhrala Mata Temple, Billawar in District Kathua.
Interacting with the participants, Speaker said that religious events like this spread the message of the brotherhood and peace.
Mr. Gupta also prayed for the betterment and welfare of the people.
