JAMMU, Oct 18: Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta today kick started the upgradation work of lane and drain in ward number 58 at Dashmesh Nagar.
He was accompanied by Executive Engineer, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Joginder Kumar, AEE, Gurcharan Singh and other officers.
While speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta said that works to be executed at an estimated cost of Rs 20 lakh will provide major relief to the residents of the area. He said that a comprehensive developmental plan is underway to improve basic amenities for the people and the concerned departments have been directed to ensure that the projects are completed in fixed timelines.
Speaker also interacted with the people and took stock of their demands. He assured them of early and swift redressal of their genuine demands on priority.
