JAMMU, Mar 15: Kavinder Gupta, Speaker Legislative Assembly, called on Governor N N Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Mr. Gupta discussed several problems and developmental issues with the Governor.
Prof. Sudhir K. Jain, the outgoing Vice Chancellor of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University also called on Governor.
The Governor lauded the advancements made by the University under the mature leadership of Prof. Jain and wished him good health and success in all his future endeavors.
Qamar Ali Akhoon, former Minister also called on Governor and discussed several important issues relating to the development of Kargil district.
The Governor agreed to review all issues raised by Akhoon and urged him to continue working vigorously for the advancement of the people’s welfare.
