JAMMU, Oct 29: A poetry book in Dogri “Mere Geet Merian Gajalan” penned by Rakesh Sharma ‘Tript’, was released by Nami Dogri Sanstha Jammu, here today.
Kavinder Gupta, Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, was chief guest on the occasion while the function was presided over by Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila, President, NDS. Ashok Jogi and Dharam Chand Shastri were special guest on the occasion while Capt Lalit Sharma and Prof Anupama Sharma co shared the dais.
Rakesh Sharma ‘Tript shared his perception of the book as its writer and recited some poetry items from the book while Dr Chanchal Sharma read literary paper on the book giving a detailed critical appreciation of the book and its contents.
Eminent writers, poets, artists, literary enthusiasts, prominent citizens and art lovers attended the function. The vote of thanks was extended by Capt Lalit Sharma.
