JAMMU, Jan 2: Composite Regional Centre (CRC) Jammu in collaboration with PMDK and Indian Army Battalion Headquarters, 4 Rashtriya Rifles (Bihar) at Sarna, Bhaderwah, organized a special assessment camp for Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjans).
About 100 beneficiaries from the region were assessed during the camp and various aids along with appliances including tricycles, wheelchairs, hearing aids, walking sticks and crutches were provided to eligible individuals to significantly enhance the mobility and independence of the beneficiaries besides improving their overall quality of life.
The camp was organised under the guidance of Dr. Rohnika Sharma, Director CRC Jammu and with support of Colonel Yogesh Chauhan and Major Shivam Dixit.
This initiative, aimed at improving the lives of Divyangjans, is a part of the ongoing efforts by CRC Jammu under Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment to ensure that persons with disabilities receive the support and assistance they deserve.
