LEH, Oct 26: As part of the ongoing Clean India Special Campaign 3.0, the Additional Economic Advisor in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MoIB), Dr Ashwani Kumar, today visited various media units of the MOIB in the Leh District.
Accompanied by Deputy Director General Prasar Bharati Ladakh, RK Jarandal, Dr Kumar visited the office complexes of Doordarshan, All India Radio and Central Bureau of Communication and took stock of various measures undertaken to maintain and promote cleanliness in and around the complexes.
Addressing media persons about the special campaign 3.0, Dr Kumar said that objective of the campaign, beginning on October 2nd, 2023, is to reduce waste, condemned goods and scrap material in all offices of the Ministry across the country in an attempt to promote cleanliness. He said the campaign will continue throughout the year.
The Advisor expressed satisfaction at the efforts of the various media units of the MoIB in Leh and urged them to continue working with same zeal and fervour to enforce the idea of Swachata Hi Seva in letter and spirit.
Kumar said the units have performed well in coordination with each other and further urged them to improve their performances by conducting special campaigns on the theme of cleanliness.
