JAMMU, Jan 31: The Assistant Labour Commissioner Office, Jammu, today convened a meeting of all the stakeholders for issuance of ration cards in favour of registered E-Shram workers in Jammu District.
The representatives of various Trade Unions such as BMS, CITU, Marble Workers Union and Bhawan Nirman Workers Union participated in the meeting.
The FCS&CA Department was represented by Rohit Kumar, Assistant Director, Jammu and Alka Misra, Assistant Director, Jammu. The Assistant Labour Commissioner, Sapna while explaining the need to comply the directions of Supreme Court with regard to issuance of Ration Card to left out E-Shram registrants requested all the participants to work with zeal to cover the eligible workers at earliest by holding camps/seminars and disseminate the information amongst masses for taking part in the registration process for which special camps are being organized by the FCS&CA Department at all the offices of Tehsil Supply Officers on 2nd and 3rd of February 2024 as a special drive.
