KISHTWAR, Dec 9: Police launched a special drive against bullets using modified silencers.
As per police spokesman, taking strict cognizance of the violations going on in Kishtwar town, especially by the two wheeler riders, Kishtwar Police led by the DySP Headquarters Kishtwar Satish Kumar conducted special drive and seized many bullets which were found violating MV Act, as the noise of their bikes were exceeding the permissible limit of noise and thus causing noise pollution and problems to the public.
Kishtwar Police has appealed to the general public to avoid the use of such silencer in the motor bikes, which exceed the permissible limits under noise pollution act, otherwise stern action as envisaged under law will be taken against the violators.
