UDHAMPUR,Dec 18:  A book “Special Education-a Mandate for Teachers” authored by Vandana Mahajan Kohli based on exceptional children was released today in the premises of Govt. Higher Secondary School,(Boys) here.
The  District Development  Commissioner Yasha Mudgal, who was the chief guest released the book in presence of Joint Director Planning, Rakesh Jamwal.
Mrs Yasha Mudgal said that other teachers should also get inspiration for such research works as they are directly in contact with the students.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal GHSS(Boys), Sunil Sharma said that the book is basically a book of guidelines to teachers on matters relating to the provision of education, to assist teachers in employing improved methods of teaching for the students with special needs.
Vandana Mahajan Kohli, the author of book gave a brief about the contents of the book. She said that   this book will help the teachers to cope with students with special needs.
Other personalities present in the programme   were Principal DIET, V.K.Soni, HoD DIET, J.M Tharmatt, Surjit Hosh Badsali, and prominent young writer.
