POONCH, Nov 15: In order to ensure punctuality and work culture in Government offices, Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Mohammad Harun Malik has constituted flaying squads/teams consisting of senior officers.
The teams will conduct regular inspections in various Government offices and monitor the punctuality of officials and delivery of essential public services on ground.
Pursuant to the directions, the teams conducted surprise visits in early working hours at various Government offices including Agriculture, I&FC, PHE Civil Sub Div. Poonch, Asstt. Soil Chemist, AD, FCSSCA, District Fund Office, PMGSY Div. Poonch, Asstt. Labour Commissioner, Chief Education Officer, DFO (T), Horticulture Department, SE Hydraulic, PHE Div. Poonch, PS Moti Nagar, GPS Derian, Baba Nath and found 67 employees unauthorized absent.
The Deputy Commissioner has ordered for immediate suspension and to withhold salary of all those officers/officials who were found absent from duty. He also ordered action against those employees who were out of station without proper permission from the competent authorities.
The Deputy Commissioner has directed all the department heads to adhere to office timing strictly so that general public do not face any inconvenience. He has repeatedly stressed for improving the work culture in Government offices and warned of strict action against erring employees in future.
