Special train between New Delhi – Katra to clear holiday rush

JAMMU, Apr 6: To clear the extra rush of passengers due to long weekend, a special train has been decided to be run between New Delhi and Katra.
The special train will be running as 04071/04072 NDLS-SVDK-NDLS Gati Shakti Special Express train, which will depart ex NDLS (New Delhi Railway Station) at 23:15 on 7th April and will return ex SVDK (Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Railway station) at 06:40 on 9th April.
As per DTM and Station Director Uchit Singhal, this special train will consist of 22 coaches and will have stoppage at Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu Tawi and Udhampur. It will be a one trip special which has been decided to be run to clear the extra rush of traffic, he added.
