DODA, Mar 23: A 4-year-old boy was brutally crushed to death by a speedy and rashly driven vehicle in Baggar area of Assar sub-division in district Doda this afternoon.
Sources informed that the tragic accident took place near Greenland Dhaba, Ganota, Assar when a car of Xylo make bearing registration number JK17-0480 coming from Jammu and moving towards Kishtwar hit the 4 years old child in front of his house at Ganota after which the injured child was shifted to Community Health Centre Batote but the minor succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital. The deceased has been identified as Bhanu Pratap, son of Bachan Singh, resident of Ganota area of Assar. However, the driver of the erring vehicle escaped and was not arrested till last reports. Police has taken a cognizance of the matter and registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
