NEW DELHI, Dec 3: In order to clear the extra rush of passengers during winter, the Railways have decided to run special trains for Jammu, Udhampur, Chandigarh, Lucknow and Varanasi.
Special trains have been pressed into service from December 1 and it will continue till December 6, said a senior Northern Railway official.
Besides, railways have also decided to extend the biweekly special festival trains between Delhi and Mumbai from December 5 to 12. While it will run on every Sunday and Wednesday from Mumbai, the return journey will be on every Thursday and Monday. (PTI)
