KISHTWAR, Apr 18: A Special Police Officer (SPO) was disengaged today for his involvement in political activity.
“In MCC violation case and tightening noose against involvement of police personnel in political activity, SSP Kishtwar has disengaged a police official namely SPO Mohd Ashraf (Belt No 1244/SPO) posted in DPL Kishtwar from SPO rolls as he was seen in the campaign of political leader of a particular party, which is against the norms of a disciplined force,” a police spokesperson said.
