DODA, Sept 30: A Special Police Officer (SPO) allegedly killed his brother in a clash triggered by land dispute.

According to reports, a clash broke out today morning at Sunwara Tehsil in hilly Pingal area of Doda district between two groups on a land dispute.
Police sources informed that during the clash a man killed his elder brother identified as Ishtyak Ahmed Wani, resident of Sunwara.
The accused Imtiyaz Ahmed Wani, SPO posted at Sunwara, and his wife, Shahnaza Begum, resident of Sunwara, Ward number 5, Panchayat Sunwara were arrested.
When contacted, SHO Gandoh, Inspector Vikram Singh said an FIR has been registered in this regard under relevant sections of law and investigation started.
