KISHTWAR, Feb 23: A wife of a Special Police Officer (SPO) was seriously injured due to accidental gunfire at her residence in Sharoti Saroor area of the district.
As per reports, Babita, wife of an SPO engaged with VDC Jeevan Lal, resident of Sharoti Saroor was seriously injured due to gunshot in her abdomen while cleaning the weapon of her husband.
After hearing the gunshot, family members rushed to the spot and shifted the victim to district hospital, where she was undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
Police has taken the cognizance in this regard.
