JAMMU, Sept 7: Sprawling Buds ICSE School, in its quest to unlock and inculcate leadership qualities among its students, organized an Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2017-18 with pomp and show in the school premises here today.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of lamp and school song sung by the students and the teachers.
Arti Sharma, Director of the school, handed over the House Flags, badges and sashes to the Head Boy, Head Girl, and Prefects and to the incharges of different Houses.
The Students Council also took the pledge to hold the school motto of Loyalty, Truth and Honour in high esteem.
Newly appointed council members included Vanshika Sharma (Head Girl), Randeep Singh (Head Boy), Asma Gul (Peace House Incharge), Varun Singh (Wisdom House Incharge), Anurag Saini (Loyalty House Incharge), and Shradha Raina (Courage House Incharge). Those who got appointed as Prefects and Monitors are Lavanya Koul, Niharika Singh, Yagyanshi Sharma, Divyansh Thakur, Jaanvi Sharma, Ayushi Parihar, Arushi Sharma, Adil Bashir Katoch and Vanshika Sharma, Nimish Saini, Sampriti Pandita, Gautam Sharma, Akrit Kotwal, Aryan Chandel, Sejal Raina and Shradha Raina.
Rahul Sharma, Chairman of the school congratulated them and admonished them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties.
Director of the school, Arti Sharma advised them to be role models and extended a supporting hand to the Students Council for the smooth running of the school. The function concluded with the vote of thanks and National Anthem.
