Sprawling Buds School Bantalab organises ‘Innovation Week’

JAMMU, Sept 1: For strengthening the mind and to make children more skillful and innovative, Sprawling Buds School, Bantalab has organized an “Innovation Week” in the school premises.
On the occasion, students were appraised about the importance of extra curricular activities. Throughout the week the students participated in different activities of art and craft. Students took part in different competitions like, colouring competition, flute decoration competition, Handi making competition and Kite flying competition.
Extra-curricular activities helped the students to strengthen the mind to promote better time management skills.
Getting involved in extra-curricular activities is a fun way to try new things, said the Director of the school, Arti Sharma.
In colouring competition, Maniya of class 1st (Blue) stood first, Laksh of class 1st (Blue) stood second and Sampriti of class 1st (Purple) stood third.
In flute decoration competition, Arushi Parihar, Abhinav and Havi of class 3rd stood first, second and third respectively.
In handi making competition, Aryan of class 4th got first position, Akhilesh Sharma of class 5th bagged second position and Vanshika of class 5th secured third position.
In kite flying competition, Vishav Pratap Singh of class 7th stood first, Amit Kumar of class 6th and Rudra Pratap singh of class 6th clinched second and third positions respectively.
Later, prizes were distributed among the winners of the competitions.
