JAMMU, Apr 9: J&K BJP SC Morcha president and former MLA, Neelam Langeh today exhorted the party workers to work relentlessly by remaining present among the people to address their issues thus further strengthening the party base.
The former MLA was speaking at a meeting of Morcha organized by its Muthi Paloura team under the chairmanship of Sarvjeet Bhagat. Langeh was chief guest while former Legislator and senior BJP leader, Shiv Dev Singh was the Guest of Honour. Among others present in the meeting included district president, Omi Khajuria, corporator, Mohinder Bhagat, district president SC Morcha, Manohar Lal and SC Morcha, State Parbhari, Jagdish Bhagat.
Speaking on the occasion, Neelam Langeh said that the BJP is like an army and all the Morchas are its wings thus the victory of the army depends upon the whole hearted support of the main commander.
Langeh said that SC Morcha is bound to uplift the marginalized sections of the society and for this, every activist of the Morcha has the moral duty to fulfil this responsibility with due care.
He said that the success of a party in winning the hearts of people and decimating the opposition in polls solely depends on the strength of the party at booth level.
He categorically said that the onus of party’s success lies with the ground level workers ability to connect with the masses and once this target is achieved and the people get the picture about BJP’s public-friendly policies.
While speaking on the Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Langeh said that he was India’s crusader for human rights and was known as the father of the Indian Constitution.
Speaking on the occasion, Shiv Dev Singh said that the BJP SC Morcha is committed to act as a beacon of light to guide the unprivileged sections to avail all the benefits of Centrally sponsored schemes and lead a life full of dignity and pride.
He also assured to work relentlessly as party’s foot soldier and ensure that the policies and schemes launched by the Modi Government for the welfare of SC community are taken to the last person standing in line. Impressed by the policies of the Central Government led by Narendra Modi for the welfare of the SC community, a large number of youth joined the BJP SC Morcha in the presence of its president.
