JAMMU, Feb 19: SR College of Competitions, here has organized a fortnight long test series for General Studies and popular Optionals involving the KAS aspirants preparing for the upcoming preliminary examination scheduled to be conducted by Public Service Commission (PSC) next month.
Over 100 students have been involved in this ongoing test series putting them to test their preparations for the examination. To start with Geography and History components of General Studies, the students underwent full mock test today. The next such tests have been scheduled for February 22 and February 24 at the college premises.
“The initiative was taken to make students assess themselves ahead of the actual examination. The test covered both traditional and currents topics. Now, we have planned full mock tests for the same group of students during week end,” said Director of the SR College of Competitions, Parveen Sharma.
Students were so enthusiasts for the ongoing exercise that they have come from far off places of different districts. Since the test was open for all, students from across the State enrolled themselves for the initiative.
“It helps in self assessment and comparing their performance with other aspirants by going through the marks and ranks obtained in these tests. The marks and ranks are displayed soon after the test is conducted,” informed the Director.
