KISHTWAR, Nov 27: The Social Reforms & Charitable Organisation, (SRCO) organized an impressive programme in the premises of Ashiana Orphanage Kishtwar to honour the persons who extended their support to Orphanage.
On this occasion, Dr. Divansh Yadav, Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar was chief guest and Shafqat Hussain Bhat, SSP Kishtwar was guest of honour.
Giving brief of SRCO, Sanjeev Parihar , its founder president said that this organization is in service of downtrodden people, women and children since 1994 and has landmark achievements in its cap. He said that Ashiana Orphanage has successful stories and the brought up inmates are now well established in various Government as well as private ventures.
SRCO also honoured, DC Kishtwar, SSP Kishtwar, Col. 26 RR, CEO (KDA) , ACR, DPO , Principal ITI and other officers for their good governance through Sanjeev Parihar its president and Kuldeep Sharma vice president.
The Life Time Achievement Award was conferred on Som Nath Sharma educationist and Riaz Ahmed Zargar (Rtd.) ADDC for their selfless contribution towards downtrodden peopleduring their service and post retirement.
SRCO honoured near about 30 donors who often extended in kinds donation to Ashiana , which includes Lt. Col. Shiv Bhadur Singh , Vijay Gupta , Er. R.K Rana, Er. P.N.Koul, Er.R.N.Sharma, Impact Tutorial, Bansi Lal , Ved Prakash, Jaggan Nath Sharma, Kewal Krishan and others.
Dr. Divansh Yadav, Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar in his address appreciated SRCO management for this noble services which they are rendering towards the society ,in general and towards the needy women and children in particular. He assured that every possible help will be extended to SRCO for carrying on their mission.
