JAMMU, Oct 8: Expressing concern over shortage of cooking gas, Shri Ram Sena today accused the State Government of failing to deal with the crisis.
“Shortage of cooking gas has adversely affected almost every household in Jammu region,” State party president Rajiv Mahajan said today, criticising the State Government for not hiking the cap on subsidised cylinders in the State.
“Isn’t the J&K Government backed by Congress? Then why the quota of subsidised LPG cylinders has not been increased to 9 each family per year, as done in other Congress-ruled States,” Mahajan asked.
He further claimed that Congress legislators have no say in the State Government.
