Srinagar court to re-open today

Srinagar, June 18: Principal District and Sessions Judge Srinagar has notified that district court complex Srinagar will reopen on June 19.
“It is notified for the information of all concerned that in terms of circular number 1 dated 6th June, 2020, issued by the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir, the District Court Complex at Srinagar, including Pantha Chowk, shall reopen tomorrow, i.e., 19th June, 2020”, PDJ Srinagar said.
Earlier the Order dated 14th June, 2020, issued by the PDJ, with regard to closing of court complex has been withdrawn.
All the Judicial Officers, officers, and officials have been asked to report for their duties. “The members of the Bar shall be permitted to enter the court complex”, read the order.
PDJ, however, directed all the concerned to ensure strict compliance to the measures in force to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
In this connection, Circulars issued by the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Government of Jammu & Kashmir, and Ministry of Health, Government of India are already in force.
PDJ reiterated that the wearing of masks, maintaining social distance, use of santizers, washing of hands at regular intervals, etc, shall be meticulously followed at all times.
“I request everyone to sincerely cooperate to keep the court complex COVID-19 free and green at all times”, PDJ said.
