Undoubtedly, this constitutes a momentous occasion for the denizens of Srinagar, with prospects for further expansion as the fruits of this pioneering endeavour begin to materialise. The Smart City initiative has played a pivotal role in the metamorphosis of Srinagar. Innovative measures aimed at enhancing the tourism appeal of Dal and Wullar, hitherto unprecedented, have been executed. These encompass the introduction of an open floating theatre, laser musical fountains, and a plethora of similar initiatives.
Lal Chowk and Polo View Market have also undergone a total transformation. These endeavours collectively aim to elevate the city to a contemporary standard akin to world-class tourist destinations.
