Srinagar, Sept 14: A Srinagar resident is among the 11 Indians who died in a crane collapse in Holy City of Makkah in Saudi Arabia last week.
The Ministry of External Affairs yesterday announced that 9 more Indians are confirmed dead in the deadly crane collapse taking the death toll to 11 from India.
Though the Jammu and Kashmir Government earlier told Excelsior that no one from state is among dead but it has now come to forth that a resident of Khanyar are here is among the 11 dead Indians.
The deceased has been identified as Ghulam Hassan Kharadi whose Hajj cover number was JKR-8305-5-0, the reports added.
